Got locked outside my house today ...as usual , forgot to carry the duplicate bunch , which my mom usually puts in my bag herself ....
Anyways , got to spend an hour at my neighbours place ...till the keys ..er ...my parents came home ...
My eyes fell on this infamous book ....of which every student in my college has spoken about ..since it arrived...

I had read it already once ...but read it anyways ...
But a second read , actually made me ponder today ..that is the part where Ryan ..the smartest of the trio ..who kept arguing about how useless an IIT was ...how it claimed to be the cutting edge of technology ...and how the system was ...and how badly they were stuck in it ...
Even after being a part of an engineering college , for the last three years , never made me feel great or something ...like your gonna be an engineer ...and you'll soon be creating new technologies ..or the usual sci-fi stuff ...
Forget about thinking about it myself , the atmosphere around also , that the teachers generated was never of that sort . It was more of assignments on time , print your programs , get that first class ..and more boring stuff ...
No...your getting me wrong ..if your thinking ..ok more whining and blames put on teachers ....I am admitting it myself ...
We...( im assuming i don't have to put a disclaimer here ) have limited ourselves to aiming for those 9 - 5 jobs ...and got ourselves so damn used to that 8 -3 schedule in college itself ....Atleast i have ....
No regrets as such ....but yet ....made me think ...that my approach was wrong ....
So , i guess no more cribbing about engineering from my part ..EVER !!
